Employee Duties & Responsibilities

As our Solar Site Foreman you will be expected to lead teams of 3-4 people in the field installing residential solar systems. The Foreman will report to our construction manager, work to ensure staff and materials are on site, on time, to deliver projects in a timely and efficient fashion.  The foreman will require the necessary communication skills to address the concerns of customers on site, and to lead their team.

Skill Requirements

  • 2-3 Years of Residential Solar Installation Experience, preferably in a leadership position.

  • Excellent understanding of measurements, dimensions, and spacing, for pristine layout/racking work.

  • Experience leading a team in the field, with evidence of conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.

  • Clear grasp of construction of roofing system principles, ensuring that structural integrity and water barriers are respected and maintained during the installation process.

  • Competence installing basic electrical connections, wiring, inverters, conduits, DC optimizers etc.

  • Time management skills.
  • Organization, week to week, and day to day, team planning and communication.
