Campanale Homes, an Ottawa-based home and multi-unit residential builder, recently completed the construction of 5 multi-unit residential buildings and the icing on the cake was when our team installed a solar panel system on each roof. The Execon Roofing and Solar team installed 373 panels across the five buildings to reduce tenants’ energy costs and make the buildings more environmentally sustainable.
Building A has the most number of panels at 121 thanks to the position of its roofing facing west and east ideal for morning and afternoon production. Buildings B through E are all facing the same southeast direction and are each equipped with 63 panels. Building’s A system size is 46.6-kilowatts and B through E is 24.25-kilowatts, together they produce over 143,000 kilowatt-hours of solar energy every year.
