This absolutely stunning home located right near Cedar Lake, in the gorgeous and green neighbourhood of Greely Ontario has a very unique solar system atop. The flat roof made for a very unique installation process on a residential property, as 19 of the 46 solar panels had to be installed with concrete pillars on the northeast side of the roof to angle the panels towards the sun. The remaining 27 panels were installed with traditional racking on the southwest portion of the roof.
This 15.41-kilowatt solar system will produce over 17,000 kilowatts hours of renewable energy every year. Over the period of 25 years, the CO2 offset by the system would be the equivalent of planting and maintaining over 6,000 trees in forests across North America. Execon installed this system in the later stages of winter in 2021, the snow and ice were of little concern for our experienced team, even our drone pilot could make it!
