This impressively efficient solar system located in Industrial Park, Ontario, covers multiple sections of the uniquely shaped roof. The 11.4-kilowatt solar system will produce over 12,000-kilowatt-hours of renewable energy from the sun every year, and offset the homes’ energy consumption by over 93% on a yearly basis. With each of the 34 panels being placed so strategically, this system is extremely efficient.
The racking for the system was installed in early February where temperatures -15 to -25 on a good day and the panels themselves were installed after one of the biggest winter storms of the year hit Ottawa with more than 30+ CM of snow. The snow, ice, and polar vortex were no match for our Execon team who regularly install solar and roofing systems no matter the time of year or how cold it gets outside.
