Located 730 kilometres, and 8 hours north-west of Ottawa sits a small community called Cochrane. Cochrane Ontario is home is to the Taykwa Tagamou Nation, a First Nations community. In the late spring of 2021, Execon Roofing and Solar installed solar systems on every eligible home and building in the community.

Over the course of 10 days, our team installed over 840 solar panels across 37 different buildings and homes. The production of all of these solar systems put together will generate over 200,000 kilowatt-hours of clean, and reliable energy every year. With the addition of these solar systems, energy sustainability has been brought to the Taykwa Tagamou Nation, and we are very proud of our work for this First Nations community.
