This simple yet very effective solar panel system was installed during the brutally harsh winter of 2021. The system was designed, engineered, and commissioned by the team at Execon Roofing and Solar. The traditional roof made for an easier installation of solar panels on the southern and eastern of the roof, while the west side was limited by a Cape Cod-style window (we do appreciate the architecture, however!).
This 6-kilowatt system, with its 18 panels will produce more than 6,500 kilowatt-hours of renewable energy every year. With such an impressive annual production, this system will offset over 85% of the homeowner’s energy needs every year. With the solar system sitting atop of an older home, it will only help keep those ever-increasing electricity costs low during the winter and summer months.
